Consultations are held virtually or in-person, either at home or in-office at our two locations.

Consultations

During breastfeeding consultations I provide both practical and emotional tools, in order to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals, and enjoy at the same time your breastfeeding relationship with your baby. These sessions may be held in person or remote, and the types vary according to the topic.

Lactation Consultations

We understand mothers need a unique care plan that suits their own lifestyles, and help them overcome any breastfeeding challenge. During an office or virtual visit consultation, I carefully assess the mother-baby dyad on multiple relevant aspects. I work together with the family, and address all questions and concerns, and come up with a personalized lactation plan. I’ll bring an infant scale to weight the baby, and other tools necessary to help you with breastfeeding difficulties. This also includes follow up contact via text messages or email for one month.

Gentle Weaning

Everybody weans, that’s a fact. But rather than a decision, it is a process that requires planning ahead. The motivations for weaning play an important role; thus, it is crucial to develop a personalized plan that takes into account what you and your baby needs. This session is available in person / online.

Going Back to Work

Returning to work after a new baby can be very stressful, and you may need time to find the right balance. In the “Going Back to Work” package I cover multiple topics to help you in a smooth transition to achieve your family/career goals. This session is available in person / online.

Exclusive Pumping

In some cases, a mother may opt to bottle feed her baby with her own milk. In such circumstances, my work is to guide you to continue providing this precious liquid, and at the same time to bond with your child. This lesson covers the most relevant topics to help you to build a milk bank and to continue enjoying your breastfeeding journey. This session is available in person / online.
